Our plant was established in 2016 under Investment License No. 168, dated July 12, 2011. We are proud to be a part of Kar Group, with our facility equipped by FLSmidth, a leading global company in this field. The plant is located in the Najaf Governorate, in the Bahr Al-Najaf – Al-Rahimiya area.

We are dedicated to environmental preservation. The plant is outfitted with the most advanced electrical and mechanical filters, utilizing cutting-edge technology across all equipment and sections to ensure a clean and safe environment.
KAR NAJAF CEMENT PLANT is one of Kar Group projects in the southern part of Iraq located in Al-Rahima, Najaf. The project was implemented by the group under the investment license No. 168 on 07/12/2011 issued by Najaf Investment Commission, the plant was equipped by the Danish company FLSmidth & Co. A/S, KAR NAJAF CEMENT PLANT started production in 2016 with a production capacity of 6000 tons of clinker per day, equivalent to (2,100,000) tons per year of cement. Duo to our company’s firm policy regarding product quality and customers satisfaction our plant is equipped with the latest advanced technical equipment and modern laboratories, as some of this equipment is being used for the first time in Iraqi cement plants in addition to that the plant is environment friendly and equipped with the most advanced types of filters available yet.
