About Us
Kar Company For Cement Industry was established in 08/03/2016 according to the registration certificate issued by the Companies Registration Department of the Iraqi Ministry of Trade. KAR Cement is a private L.L.C with three cement production plants in Iraq, and they are: -KAR Najaf Cement Plant
Began production in 2016 the plant capacity is about 2,100,000 tons per year of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC), Sulphate Resistant Cement (SRC), Limestone CEM II and Oil Well Cement (OWC Class G).
Qarachog Cement Plant
Began production in 2017 with a capacity of two million tons per year of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC).
Sinjar Cement
Plant
KAR cement contracted with the Iraqi government to start investing the plant in 2021 for a period of 25 YRS The plant production capacity is about two million tons annually of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC).
Who We AreKAR NAJAF CEMENT PLANT
is one of Kar Group projects in the southern part of Iraq located in Al-Rahima, Najaf. The project was implemented by the group under the investment license No. 168 on 07/12/2011 issued by Najaf Investment Commission, the plant was equipped by the Danish company FLSmidth & Co. A/S, KAR NAJAF CEMENT PLANT started production in 2016 with a production capacity of 6000 tons of clinker per day, equivalent to (2,100,000) tons per year of cement. Duo to our company’s firm policy regarding product quality and customers satisfaction our plant is equipped with the latest advanced technical equipment and modern laboratories, as some of this equipment is being used for the first time in Iraqi cement plants in addition to that the plant is environment friendly and equipped with the most advanced types of filters available yet.
